The Wish List

The Cat Beach Team, volunteers and visitors often talk about the many things needed and wished for. Below you can find our dreams and daily needs. CQI – Continuous Quality Improvement — is always the goal. We are always on the lookout for suppliers, discounts, and freebies to keep costs down and constantly improve cat care. If you or someone you know has supplies like newspapers, chicken, cat kibble or medications, those are most needed. Much appreciated are item like furniture or pre-loved sellables for the 2nd Chances Charity Store and bimonthly Jumble Yard Sales.

If you know of supplies or other useful items, preferably free or discounted, please do let us know! With your donation in-kind or in funds, you can really make a difference in the lives of the cats — and the people who love them!

REPAIRS Currently have the following machines that have broken down (with weather and heavy use, so often machines need repair or replacement) – Bar Fridge for medicines, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Power Washer, Vacuum Cleaner
EQUIPMENT Most necessary: Fans, Cages, Carriers, Scale for weighing kittens
TOILET Public and Team Toilet & Shower
TRANSPORT Truck or car and/or driver to transport cats to/from vet, do shopping, pickup newspapers & donated items
ROOFING Clear plastic roofing (or other clear material) to cover main areas and protect from rain
PLANTS Garden plants including catmint, cat root, catnip, lavender, etc that are safe for cats
CAGES Large enclosures for separating groups of cats. Large cages with portals. Shelving for cages.
GROUNDSKEEPING Grass mower or person to come regularly to tend to grass and trash outside and in parking areas
REPAIRS & RENOVATIONS Handyman to build more spaces, do repairs, paint
